The BormioM. Coat by MALOJA for women is a windproof and breathable down hooded coat for everyday use.

The windproof coat has a permanently water-repellent finish, good moisture transport and thus optimum insulation at low temperatures. The BormioM. Coat by MALOJA can be opened and closed by a 2-way front zip and the hood can be deteched.

The BormioM. winter coat by MALOJA for everyday also scores with its two practical front pockets with press buttons and side entry in which small valuables can be stowed easily and securely at any time.

• “Enrosadira – Shadow, Light and Confidence”

Alpenglow: When light and rock meet early in the morning or in the evening, an impressive colour spectacle is created in nature. The Ladins in South Tyrol use a particularly melodic term for alpenglow. They call it Enrosadira.

For the annual theme 2022, MALOJA was inspired by the beauty of this spectacle and the inner mood that accompanies it. Confidence spreads – a powerful feeling.

• Stormshell 2-Layer: Stormshell 2-L is a lightweight, very elastic 2-layer fabric and was specially developed for combination with Primaloft® performance insulation. The windproof and highly breathable PU membrane offers additional protection on windy and cold days. The PFC-free DWR finish makes the material durable water and dirt-repellent.
• 2-Layer: The outer material, functional membrane and a thin protective film are bonded to a stable 2-layer construction. This material can cope with professional and uncompromissing claim. The membrane used offers very good breathability and waterproofness.
• Recycled Down: Re:Down®’s approach had MALOJA convinced from the word “go”, and that’s why they use their Global Recycled Standard-Certifed recycled down as the filler for their jackets and to ensure that the jackets maximise warmth only the really high-end duck and goose down with 700 cuin fill power is used. (90/10 Mix).
• 650 cuin: Fill power is calculated in cubic inches, cuin. The higher the fill power value, the better the insulation in relation to the packing volume.
• Durable water repellent eco: The outer material has a durable water and dirt repellent, environmentally friendly and free from harmful PFC finish that allows rain and snow to roll of. The outer surface of the clothing is less sensitive against dirt and the breathability is not affected. All treatments used by MALOJA are Bluesign® approved and fulfill all necessary requirements regarding sustainability.
• Windproof: 100% windproof garment for ambitious users. No matter how windy it is or how fast you are riding downhill, this garment avoids windchill (factor) and perfectly transports humidity outward.
• Supreme Insulation: MALOJA distinguishes between different insulation levels. Basic, premium and supreme insulation. The right insulation for the different temperatures is always depending on the application area and the intensity of the activity.
• Basic Breathability: Under normal active conditions, the moisture transport of the material ensures a pleasant body climate thus a good breathability is guaranteed.
• 2 Way Zip: The 2-way zipper has a second slider, which can be pushed up for more freedom of movement while doing sport or sitting.
• Detachable Hood: The hood can be removed with a zip or press buttons.
• Hand Gaiter: Hand gaiters prevent snow, water or dirt entering your jacket.
