The SpechtM. Pants are extremely breathable and windproof ski mountaineering pants by MALOJA.

The SpechtM. Gore-Tex® Infinium trousers are breathable and very elastic ski touring trousers. They are durable water-repellent and also have optimum ventilation technology. The mens SpechtM. trousers by MALOJA feature Windstopper® XFast inserts along the entire length of the leg for optimum insulation in cold temperatures and winds. The elastic and adjustable waistband also ensures greater wearing comfort on long ascents.

That was the title of the first MALOJA collection in 2004 and now forms the annual theme for the 17th collection in 2021. This phrase has accompanied MALOJA for over 15 years – it has become the slogan and the guiding principle of their actions.

For “Soul in the Woods”, MALOJA has intensively studied forests and the life together there. On closer inspection, the theme tells of the “soul” of the forests and of the cooperation, solidarity and wisdom of the trees, their finely interwoven social system and a world in which the individual potential of each contributes to the well-being of all.

A vivid community is more relevant than ever in 2021. Perhaps we should take the “soul” of the forests as an example: sticking together, standing up for each other, growing together.

• Gore-Tex Infinium™: Gore-Tex Infinium™ garments are durably windproof, water resistant, and highly breathable. This combination of protection and breathability minimises the wind’s chilling effect while reducing the risk of overheating when you are active. A durable waterrepellent (DWR) fabric treatment is often employed to provide additional water repellency.
• Thermal Stretch Eco: Thermal Stretch Eco is a 4-way stretch material made from recycled nylon and recycled Spandex developed with ski touring, cross-country skiing and cycling first of mind. Thermal Stretch Eco delivers superior breathability, and is pilling and abrasion resistant. The structured inner surface provides insulation and quick moisture transport to the outer surface.
• 4-way-stretch: This fabric offers cross and lengthwise stretchability, thus provides perfect freedom of movement.
• Basic Insulation: MALOJA distinguishes between different insulation levels. Basic, premium and supreme insulation. The right insulation for the different temperatures is always depending on the application area and the intensity of the activity.
• Supreme Breathability: No matter how hard you play – this garment provides optimal moisture transport. The extremely breathable fabric and additional ventilation openings guarantee optimal body climate. The MVT rate of this garment is not less than 15.000g/m²/24h.
• 3 Layer: The outer material, functional membrane and lining are bonded to a stable 3-Layer construction. This material can cope with professional and uncompromising claim. The membrane used offers very good breathability and waterproofness.
• Durable Water Repellent eco: The outer material has a durable water and dirt repellent, environmentally friendly and free from harmful PFC finish that allows rain and snow to roll of. The outer surface of the clothing is less sensitive against dirt and the breathability is not affected. All treatments used by MALOJA are Bluesign® approved and fulfill all necessary requirements regarding sustainability
• Partially Windproof: The windblock/windstopper front avoids the Chill Effect (airstream) that can lower body temperature.
• Waist Width Regulation: Due to an integrated regulation system the waist size can be adjusted.
• Reflective Detail: This product has a reflective print for increased visibility in the dark.
• Ski Edge Reinforcement: The particularly stressed leg inside are provided with a durable reinforcement.
• Preshaped Knee: These pants have a preshaped knee area that helps reduce any discomfort caused by creasing.
